essay #1 my first car

                                                     MY FIRST CAR.  

                  The summer of 2008 after I graduated high school I knew I was gonna be attending Oxnard college, but the thing I didn’t know was how I was going to be getting there. I knew I had to get my license and a car within that summer before the fall semester started. So I started by getting my license and after failing the written test about four times I eventually got it, so I thought to myself all I need now is a car which I thought was going to be the hard part. At the time I was working part time at the commissary on base in which I only got paid in tips so I knew this was going to be a tough one. There was about a month and a half left before school actually started so I knew I had to start working hard. I knew I was going to have cut back on spending and start saving everything I made so I just stoped spending period. I ate at home everyday and almost didn’t have a social life because I didn’t want to be tempted to spend any of that car money ive been saving.
