the addiction of reality t.v.

Now a days when you turn on your t.v. all you see are reality shows on every other channel. But im not the one to knock them. I’m actually a fan of a quite a few of them. And yes im guilty of being a Jersey Shore fan. I watched the first episode of season one thinking it was going to be a waste of time but instead it got me hooked. I don’t know what it was that had me stoked every thursday for the latest episode. I think it was all the crazy drama and non sense that attracted me and it also couldve been that the show is hilarious.

I know a lot of people that love to watch reality shows but then again I know a lot that hate them too. I could honestly say there are quite a few that I cannot stand but there are a few that I watch. I think most people judge reality shows based on what Mtv and Vh1 play normally, but there are some that arent anything like those shows. What most people seem to forget is that these shows are on for our entertainment. Some of these shows might not be appealing to the more of the middle age audience but to the younger crowed we get quite a kick out of the crazy non sense that happens on these shows. But if you ask me I don’t think these reallity shows harm society at all, as funny as this might sound it might provide more six figure paying jobs.

So I have to admit that reality shows are a guilty pleasure of mine. I look forward to Jersey Shore every Thursday night and I also like watching dealiest catch. I think reality shows are a way for us to see other people do some of the crazy stuff that we wish we could do.
