summer of six flags
One of my most memorable and most fun times would have to be a trip to six flags i took the summer of my incoming sophmore year in high school. I remember it like it was yesterday, getting a call from one of my best friends asking if i wanted to go and that he was willing to pay for my ticket. All we could talk about on the phone was what we where going to wear, what rides we were going to ride and how many girls we thought we were going to meet. The night before the trip i tried to plan out what i was going to wear. I knew we were both going wear the best outfit we had in our closets because at that time six flags was a huge thing for us. In my closet i had a fresh pair of white and black low top jordan 12's i bought 6 months earlier and was saving for the perfect day so i knew i had to bust those bad boys out. At the time khaki dickie suits where in so i bought that and had my dad put the meanest creases ever, honestly i think he went a little over board with the iron and starch. So the the morning of the trip i had my dad drop me off at my friends house an hour early because i was so anxious to go. My friend mike bought a smilez and southstar cd since we thought they were the coolest and we played that album all the way to the theme park. As we walk through the gates we scope the scene like we were cool then ran as fast as we could could to the closest ride which was viper. The whole week leading toward the trip i was talking about how superman wasnt that scary and that i would ride it three times so that was the second ride we went on. As we walked up the hill getting closer and closer to the line my heart was pounding and i wanted to chicken out but i knew i couldn't because my friends wouldnt let me hear the end of it. We didn't get on as much rides as we planned because the line were so ridiculous .By the time it got dark we were so sad to leave. My friends mom was in front as soon as we stepped out of the park. We hoped his mom would take her time so we could live up the last few mintues we were at the theme park. Til' this day we still talk about this memorable day.

a band of brothers
i have a good handful of people that are important to me. My friends would definitely make that list. So i should start with my homie dj, hes probably one of the nicest guys you'll meet. He gets along with everyone and he could fix anything. Hes not not the tallest out of all my friends and hes about as out doories as they come. I met him in bio in high school i think and we've been chillin ever since.
Another good friend of mine would have to be my boy mike. We met at summer football practice freshmen year and we instantly clicked. He over seas right now because hes in the army but we chat on facebook all the time. We joke about everything and were always causing a ruckuss. Hes like my partner in crime
Lastly would have to be my dude ryan, ive known this guy longer then ive known most of my friends. I would have to say hes one of my bestfriends. This guy is the definition of a giant teddy bear, hes about 6'2 270 and strong as an ox but he wouldnt hurt a fly. I go to him for the best advice. Im the only child but these guys are like my brothers, I got their backs til the wheels come fall off and i know they have mine.

mr.lee's
I recently went to an all you can eat korean bbq restaurant in cerritos,ca called Mr.Lee's. The restaurant is in a pretty small shopping center so it might be hard to see when driving by or you could just find the shopping center with all the cars jammed in the parking lot from all the customers. The pricing i would have to say is pretty cheap for a korean restaurant. For ten dollars you can get and unlimited amount of marinated beef, marinated chicken and pork belly. When they say its all you can eat thats what they mean so i try and get my moneys worth everytime so i recommend you come with a appetite. The restaurant itself isnt the biggest place so there might be a little wait while the tables get cleared. As for the service i would say is good and fast. The waiters and waitresses all seemed like college students so they were pretty chill and talkative. The environment could be better, when you first walk in it sounds like mayhem but its only everyone talking loud because of the loud bbq grills thats in the middle of the tables. I personal recommend not eat there before you go to a function because the smell of the grill and meat are going to be on your clothes all night. Overall the resturant is pretty good if you want to really eat and be in a food comma after your meal.

Spring 2011
Spring semester I would have to say is going by o.k. This semester I could honestly say my teachers are pretty cool because they all seem to have a pretty good sense of humor and they're pretty good with interacting with there students which makes it fun in class. My classes are not to long like my classes before so i'm not falling asleep in class and they're not to early so I come to class with a little bit of energy. I think the downside of this semester would be the home work compared to my last semester. After taking only an art class last semester it was kind of a different feeling switching back to normal classes this semester. I went from taking a class that I loved to actually having to do more homework. And what makes it even worse was that i'm a pretty bad when it comes to procrastinating. Overall I think spring semester isn't going to bad for me but I know it could be doing a lot better . I think me taking only one art class last semester made it pretty easy to just slack off a little since I was assigned such little home work. My teachers in my spring classes I think give out maybe a little too much homework at times but everything can't just come easy to me and I know the classes are only going to get harder.

them good ol' days
The first time I played a paint ball I was shot so many times and had so many knots and bruises all over my body. After my first game my adrenaline was pumping so much i thought this was the greatest thing ever. Around my sophmore year / junior year was probably when I was into paint ball the most. I would wake up early every weekend to go play and sometimes i would play at night in a indoor field. I remember going to tournaments to watch my favorite pro's play and would buy anything and everything paint ball. This video is a trailer of one of my favorite paint ball dvds when I was younger.

my thoughts
There are many issues people can take a firm stance on without having second thoughts or questioning their convictions. I’m a firm believer in many things. However, one issue in particular has recently fallen into a grey area, so to speak. Abortion is, in itself, a huge question Americans can have two completely different answers to. I used to believe it was outright wrong. I couldn’t put my head around somebody “killing a baby”. It didn’t seem natural to me, but to understand the problem I had to understand more than that.
Opponents of abortion often go as far as calling it “murder”. All this controversy is based on morals, of course, and is not set in stone. I have lately had a change of heart, if you will, and don’t see it that way at all. The first question is “what constitutes as a baby?” This is probably where most of the controversy lies. Some people say birth, other say conception, and everything in between. I honestly cannot distinguish the difference between abortion or any other form of contraception such as a condom or Plan B. Unless there are strict guidelines for this I fear the issue will continue to stagnate. Also, I am a guy. This particular issue, if you think about it, only directly affects women. Why should men have the right to decide? I don’t believe it is in our place to do so.
A woman considers abortion for many reasons. If you put yourself in her shoes maybe it will give you more insight into the issue. The classic example is the rape victim. If you’re an abortion opponent what would you tell her? It’s easy to come up with an answer now but what if you were her? What about the woman who is not in an situation ideal for raising or providing for a child? This is often seen as a weak argument but wouldn’t you wish your child a privileged existence?
I will say again, I’m not a woman and don’t presume to know everything about abortion. There are definitely many grey areas not only in my belief, but in the issue itself. I could type something just as long stating reasons against it, but I digress. I can honestly say I don’t know what to think. Both sides definitely have a solid case and right now, I could swing either way on the issue.
